Hi, I'm Josh and I'm really glad you found your way to my little corner of the internet. I'm a husband, dad, small business owner, woodworker and curious guy. Since I was little I was a tinkerer. Taking things apart to see how they worked, using my imagination to build forts, ready to jump at any opportunity to make something from seemingly nothing. I got my first 'taste' of woodworking with my Grandpa making various things. The one that really sticks out for me was a jewelry box. This was the first thing that I made with him that I did more building than watching. It felt great to make a reality of what I could see so clearly in my head. Fast forward about 10 years to when I was finally living in a house with a spot that could become a wood shop. I jumped at the opportunity to start accumulating the tools that would again help me to make my visions a reality. This was the spark that eventually became JLG Wood Studio.
